Soderberg - Visiting UNF Scholar Loses By K.O.

By DAVID THEUS

Nancy Soderberg

OCTOBER 23. 2008 - Nancy Soderberg, a current resident of Jacksonville, Florida where she is a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the University of North Florida, foreign policy strategist, author, and past high ranking official at the National Security Council, and U.S. Representative for Special Political Affairs at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations with rank of Ambassador, got schooled tonight by Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor on FOX News.

During an attempt to defend recent coming out of General Colin Powell’s last inning endorsement of Senator Barack Obama, The Factor’s Bill O’Reilly gave both barrels when Soderberg tried to convince the viewers that General Powell’s motives were not politically motivated or a "pay back" to the Republican Party and President George W. Bush’s alleged mistreatment of Powell during his tenure as Secretary of State.

Poised in a studio with a backdrop of the Jacksonville skyline and downtown view of the St. Johns River, Soderberg tried to exchange punches with O’Reilly in an attempt to make her case. O’Reilly wins by knock out.
