Early Morning Narcotics and Weapons Bust in Clay County

Early Morning Narcotics and Weapons Bust in Clay County

OCTOBER 30, 2008 - A group of Clay County residents received an early morning wake up call from members of the Clay County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force, U.S. Marshals and FDLE yesterday in the Greenwood subdivision off Knightboxx Road. Ten suspects were arrested and detectives confiscated a large amount of marijuana, cocaine, pills, cash and five weapons (including an assault rifle) from the two houses involved.

Detectives monitored the homes and the involved suspects for several months leading up to yesterday morning's arrests. Information about drug and weapons activity was compiled that led to the arrests and seizures. The suspects were found in two homes in close proximity to each other and detectives believe that the residents have been working in conjunction with one another.

Arrested were Ridge Williams (19), Belinda Kalina (41), Jacob Kalina (18; son of Belinda), Amber Jeffers (19), Casandra Yenckik (19), Kyle Culliton (18), Percy Green (18)...plus two other adults and one juvenile have been issued notices to appear.
