Cigarette Burglar Sought
This case takes nicotine addiction to a whole new level. A burglary was committed in Clay County on October 19th at about 3:00 am. The photos/video shows a masked man breaking through the door of the Gate Station located at 3210 Highway 17 in Orange Park. He then uses a trash can to load and steal multiple cartons of cigarettes, all brands and types. The store manager estimated $500 worth of cigarettes was stolen by this suspect. Please contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office General Investigations Unit at 213-6654 with any information regarding this crime or if you recognize the suspect (from his mannerisms, clothing, size, etc).
