A very special group, The Inside Joke Band, will perform this Friday night, Oct. 31, from 7 - 10 p.m. These three guys have competed in about every kind of competition imaginable on a regional and national basis including the MoeFest and Gram Parsons Festival in Gainesville. The band has also played at car shows, night clubs, fairs and for private events. In other words, it doesn’t matter where they are, just so they’re playing music. These three guys have spent their lives playing music and play it best when they’re together. Drummer Terry Parker is the backbone of the rhythm and blues section of the band. He sings lead and background harmony and has played with or opened for musicians like Jimmy C. Rice,
Guitarist Bill Jones has played the acoustic and electric guitar for more than 30 years. He sings lead and background vocals. Jones has played with or opened for the late Bo Diddley, Larry Boone, Natalie Nicole Green, The Judds, Gary Morris and The Charlie Daniels Band. Rob Boynton plays the acoustic guitar and bass. He also sings lead and background vocals. He’s contributed to many song-writing projects with such professionals as Mitch Sands, Robert Lovelace, Jon Alexandra, Angela Lang and Johnny Morrison. The Inside Joke Band plays classic rock, rockabilly/country and blues tunes. You’re sure to enjoy this seasoned band this Friday night, Oct. 31, at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak. Free admission for this event. Dinner and beverages will be available at regular prices from the SOS Café and Restaurant menu.
