Bobcats seeking back to back championships
     Baker County football action is on fire at both the high school and at the middle school. While the Wildcats are vying for a playoff spot, Coach George McDuffie’s middle school Bobcats are set to play for the North Florida Crown Conference Championship this coming week.

Baldwin Coach's Corner
Game 7
     Playing on a short week always scares a coach. Due to a planning day for Duval County schools, our game was played on Thursday night. That meant moving our entire weekly schedule up one day. As the coach, it is my responsibility to make sure our kids are focused in enough time and make sure we as a team are prepared to play one day earlier.

Coach’s Forum - Bradford County
     This past Friday the Bradford Tornadoes defeated the Yulee Hornets 33-14. Coach Ramsey’s squad played hard and was well coached. Our offense is starting to come around now that we are hanging our hats on the Wing-T offense. I was very pleased overall.

     The Union County Tigers shut out P.K. Yonge, 38-0 in a District 4-2B match up Friday Night in their first shutout since 2005.

Crusaders fall to Wildcats
     Wildcat Head Coach Bobby Johns knew his team was heading into a must win game last Friday night. Baker County’s aspirations of making the state 3A football playoffs hinged on beating the Bishop Kenny Crusaders. Coach John’s hammered that point home in dramatic fashion, when prior to the game he led his team from the locker room carrying a sledgehammer.
