Union Tigers take P.K. Yonge, 38-0

The Union County Tigers shut out P.K. Yonge, 38-0 in a District 4-2B match up Friday Night in their first shutout since 2005.

"Our guys were making the plays," said Head Coach Andrew Zow.

 
Randy Randolph's 31-yard touchdown run minutes into the first quarter began the scoring. A 39-yard interception return by Kendall Wright seconds later gave the Tigers a 12-0 cushion.

An additional touchdown run by Najeeb Smith in the second quarter gave Union County an 18-0 lead going into halftime.

A pass from quarterback Chris Alexander to Lonnie Gosha set up a 60 yard touchdown run in the beginning of the second half. Another touchdown by Justin Tyson made the lead 32-0.

A final touchdown with 3:18 left by Tiger D.J. Paige nailed the game shut for Union County.
