World at War Multiplayer Beta Available to All!

By: DAVID WORTHINGTON

World at War Multiplayer Beta Available to All!

By the way it does look this good.
Not yet sure about the next Call of Duty? Don’t worry. Treyarch has delivered in ways that you would never imagine. Before I go on I’m not questioning Treyarch’s ability with the Call of Duty franchise, because the 3rd installment was pretty good. But Infinity Ward set the bar a little higher with Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, and while some of you may disagree I believe that Treyarch has raised it a little more.

Dogs, tanks, dogs, more diverse levels, dogs, new perks, dogs, new weapons, and by the way dogs. With more additions to the gameplay it adds a more diverse playing style than just running around and shooting people. What new vehicular perk do I use? Do I put bazooka’s on my class to counter tanks? How the hell do I get away from the dogs!? (I got bit in the butt while climbing a ladder).

If this article is not enough to make you want the game, check out the multiplayer beta which by the way is available in the Xbox Live marketplace for free. The beta gives you a look at 3 levels; the tank infested train-yard Roundhouse, the Imperial Japanese Castle, and the coastal village Makin . The beta also gives you the ability to level up to 44 which regrettably doesn’t give you the coveted Flamethrower, however you do get to sample a few of the new treats. So, remember if you’re playing the beta and you see Sauria Rex appear in front of you do the honorable thing and pop that fool in the head. See you out there.
