Settlement with Debt Elimination Marketers gets $240,000 for Victims
     TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced that his Economic Crimes Division has reached a settlement with two individuals and two companies formerly associated with a fraudulent debt elimination scheme.

Former "Survivor" cast member arrested in Florida
     NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - A former contestant voted off "Survivor Gabon" last month was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication, obstruction of an officer and resisting arrest without violence after an argument in a Naples bar. Ace Gordon was the seventh contestant voted off the reality show.

IG’s Drug Detection Handlers/Dogs take First Place in competition again
     During the first week of November 2008, the Inspector General’s Drug Detection Canine Unit attended the Southern Hill’s Kennel annual seminar and recertification program. During the course of the week the canine / handler teams were challenged with many different training scenarios.
