Fiery crash kills two

BAKER COUNTY, FLA - Two Alabama residents were killed and one seriously injured when their SUV crashed into the back of a semi truck on Interstate 10 west of Sanderson.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Charles Boyd, 53, Martha Boyd, 51, and Jessica Boyd, 21, all of Opp, Alabama, were traveling westbound on I-10 Monday about 6:00 p.m. when driver Martha Boyd ran into the truck causing both vehicles to crash and the SUV to catch on fire.

Martha and Jessica Boyd died at the scene and Charles was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the semi, Nicolas Tauler-Callejas, 68, of Hardeeville, South Carolina was not injured.
