Old Tyme Farm Days & Engine show

Old Tyme Farm Days & Engine show

Spend Thanksgiving at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, enjoy dinner (that’s southern for a meal served about noon), we’ll provide the meat, and you provide side dishes. Our SOSMP family and guests will give thanks and enjoy a great meal and fellowship, then move on to karaoke that night in the Music Hall.

On Friday and Saturday, November 28-29, it’s time for the annual Old Tyme Farm days & Engine Show, bigger and better this year with lots of Old Tyme stuff to see and do like a tractor parade, tractor and fly wheel engine show, gospel sing, cane grinding and syrup making, fly wheelers’ supper, mule plowing exhibit, crafts, petting zoo, Observation Bee Hive where you can see 40,000 bees working inside a glass enclosure and the opening of Suwannee Lights, the biggest Christmas light show around!

There’ll also be quilting, weaving, blacksmithing, chair caning, spinning and mule-driving demonstrations, story telling. And, of course, all the other SOSMP amenities such as horseback riding, canoeing, hiking, Country Store, mini golf, fishing and much, much more will be available at regular prices.

Meet your entire family at the SOSMP for Thanksgiving weekend! Plan now. You’ll be glad you did! Day admission for Old Tyme Farm Days is $10 per carload, event fee included in weekend camping. There will also be wonderful entertainment with dinner and beverages available Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at regular prices in the Music Hall. Free admission Thursday and Friday nights to the Music Hall events, $10 admission Saturday night.
