Gridiron Classic to be televised on the YES Network
     The YES Network will televise live the third annual Gridiron Classic on Saturday, December 6, as JU, the Pioneer Football League champion, travels north to face Albany, the champion of the Northeast Conference.

Dolphins fall to late Baylor 3-point barrage, 76-68
     NOVEMBER 25, 2008 - Cliff Warren had been looking for a complete game from his team. He got that on Monday night, but the JU men’s basketball team fell to a barrage of 3-ponters by Baylor as the Bears took home a 76-68 win at the Ferrell Center.

Florida Men's Swimming Signs Seven Future Gators
     Head coach Gregg Troy officially announced the seven fall signees for the men’s swim squad. Among the class of seven, four men hail from Florida, while two out-of-state swimmers and one international signee will begin their collegiate swimming careers with the Gators in Aug. 2009.

Slow first half dooms JU in loss to American
     The first half has not been kind to the JU men’s basketball team in the first three games of the 2008-09 season. The Dolphins (0-3) hit less than 35 percent in the first half and could not dig out an 11-point halftime deficit, falling to American (3-1), 75-67, on Saturday night at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

PFL CHAMPS: Dolphins rally past Dayton, 19-14
     On Saturday, the Dolphins (9-3, 7-1 PFL) scored 19 points in the final 11 minutes to take home their first Pioneer Football League championship with a 19-14 win over Dayton (9-3, 6-2 PFL).

FSU over Maryland, 37-3
     COLLEGE PARK, MD - What a difference a week makes. Or perhaps, it was the best of games it was the worst of games. After last week losing to Boston College in a game that coach Bobby Bowden described as "we just got whooped," Florida State responded by handing Atlantic Coast Conference leading Maryland their first loss of the year at home 37-3 Saturday night.

Florida dominates The Citadel, 70-19
     No. 3 Florida defeated The Citadel Bulldogs, 70-19, on Senior Day at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday. The Gators accumulated 705 total yards of offense in the win, just the third time in school history that the feat has been accomplished. The win improved Florida to 10-1 overall (7-1 SEC), while The Citadel fell to 4-8 overall (2-6 SoCon).
