FDOT Five Year Work Program to be Discussed FDOT Five Year Work Program to be DiscussedLAKE CITY,Fla - A reduced budget has challenged the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to come up with a slate of projects that can be accomplished over the next five years and these projects will be presented to the public over the next two weeks in three separate work program public hearings. The public hearings are tailored for each of the 18 counties in the FDOT District Two area and will be held:
Monday, December 8 at the FDOT District Office, 1109 South Marion Avenue in Lake City (U.S. 441 South) to discuss the projects in Levy, Dixie, Gilchrist, Alachua, Bradford, Union and Columbia counties (in that order). Monday, December 15 at the Suwannee River Water Management District headquarters, 9225 County Road 49, (east of Live Oak, just south of U.S. 90) to discuss the counties of Taylor, Madison, Lafayette, Hamilton and Suwannee (in that order). Tuesday, December 16 at the FDOT Training Center, 2198 Edison Avenue in Jacksonville (off I-10 at the Stockton Street exit) to focus on the projects in Baker, Putnam, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau and Duval counties (in that order). All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. |
