Treating St. Nick
(Family Features) "Dear Santa, I've made you some crispy marshmallow-cereal treats that I've cut into happy holiday shapes. I piped them with decorating icings and used colored sugars, confetti, and sprinkles to finish them off. I even made a snow-covered chimney, just for you, Santa! Take some goodies for everyone at the Pole to celebrate the holiday. Be sure to come back next year!" The kid in all of us wants to leave something special for Santa. This year, the Wilton Test Kitchens offer an alternative to traditional cookies with festive Crispy Cutouts and Santa's Chimney Treats. Kids will love making them and Santa will love eating them. The holiday shapes are a snap to make with cookie cutters, and the cute chimney is built by cutting the treats into squares and pressing them together. White cookie icing outlines the bricks and makes the snow-covered top. A simple Santa-shaped icing decoration adds the finishing touch. Now just pour that glass of milk and set out the treats for Santa...he'll take it from there. For more holiday treats for Santa and your family, visit www.wilton.com.
